The Howard Maurer designed golf course was built in 2001, and its maintenance was outsourced to IGM four years later. Through the mutual trust that developed, IGM was contracted to provide complete management services for The Ledges Golf Club, beginning January, 2019.
When honey bees made themselves at home, building colonies at The Ledges Golf Club and Chicopee Country Club, the South Hadley and Chicopee, Massachusetts communities welcomed them. International Golf Maintenance, which provides maintenance services for both golf courses, knew just how to keep them safe.
In early 2019, the opportunity arose for IGM, Reflection Bay’s maintenance contractor, to build a golfing practice facility on a nearby green space in the Lake Las Vegas community. The new practice facility was designed to renovate four remaining holes from the former course (The Falls) to create a driving range, along with practice holes, greens, and bunkers.
When the Directors of Ludlow Country Club in western Massachusetts became concerned about a downward trend in membership, they had only to look at nearby golf courses being maintained by IGM to see the problems with Ludlow’s playing appeal. In turn, they recently signed a five-year contract with IGM to restore the golf course to a higher standard.
