One of the country’s leading golf course maintenance providers, IGM partners with the management of its client golf courses to achieve goals for healthy turf, playability, and budget. Amanda Fontaine: Growing Up on a Golf Course

Raking bunkers on a golf course was literally child’s play for Amanda Fontaine. Today, it’s part of her job as IGM’s Golf Course Superintendent at The Ledges in Massachusetts. Following in her father’s footsteps, Amanda says she fought the pull to the agricultural world for a long time before giving in and climbing the golf course maintenance rungs to her current role with IGM.

Building a Baseball Field and Community Ties

IGM is well known in the golf course maintenance industry, but we enjoy having opportunities to expand our services to benefit our communities. A perfect example is IGM’s relationship with the Bear Valley Springs Association. IGM’s golf course crew maintains the BVSA Oak Tree Golf Course, plus we employ a grounds crew to maintain landscaping, parks, and other amenities within the Association’s community. Most recently, it was all hands-on deck to complete a top-quality baseball field.

AJGA Tournament Returns to Reflection Bay

After more than a year of pandemic conditions, Reflection Bay Golf Club in Henderson, Nevada was thrilled to have the American Junior Golf Association (AJCA) tournament return in early June. The annual tournament at Reflection Bay challenged IGM Golf Course Superintendent Ryan Howell and his maintenance crew to meet tournament standards with limited pandemic-level staffing.
